5.2. Roles and responsibilities of reviewers and referees
- Users: main role. Users are entitled to submit Practices or Other contents to the Digital Library. The user can also search contents within the platform.
- Reviewers: are entitled to assess the practices submitted before its inclusion in the CHRODIS platform. Reviewers are promoted to this role by the administrators of the CHRODIS Platform, after a selection process where experts can appoint themselves or others as candidates and they have a recognized expertise in the area of interest of the evaluated practice. Reviewers are segregated by Area of Interest for conducting the assessment of the practices submitted for that Area.
- Referees: are in charge of producing the final assessment of a submitted practice, and solving discrepancies between reviewers. Referees are promoted to this role by the administrators of the CHRODIS Platform, from the pool of Reviewers from each Area of Interest with expertise in the area of interest of the evaluated practice. Referees are meant to intervene in case of disagreement between the two Reviewers conducting the assessment. Referees are also responsible for determining the final score of the practice assessed, and the comments to the submitter. Referees are also segregated by Area of Interest for conducting the assessment.
